WHAT TO WEAR ON VALENTINE'S DAY: LAST MINUTE DATE OUTFIT IDEAS!

Hello everyone,

Anyone doing anything special on Valentine's Day? 💕 

You might be thinking "I don't have any plans", but trust me, some things in life come at us unexpectedly, at the very last-minute. If that happens to you this February 14, (your crush asks you out on a date) I want you to be able to act quickly. This is why, I decided to share with you my outfit ideas for a few date occasions. What to wear if he invites you to a fancy dinner, a movie or you're just going to enjoy a fun Galentine's Day with your besties?

I know with Covid we might not have such a big range of options for date night, but this is a wonderful time to get creative and surprise your better half. In my city a lot of restaurants and activities are open, you just have to make sure to call beforehand for a reservation. Plus, love will never die even in a pandemic like this one!!!

FANCY DINNER DATE

There might not be any parties happening this Valentine's Day, but you can always get fancy if your man takes you to a lovely 5 star restaurant. I would suggest going all out in a red dress! I know, I totally would because it really is the perfect occasion to do so. When again are you going to wear a vibrant, sensual red dress? 

Plus, when it comes to any more formal events, it's better to be overdressed than feel underdressed. This way, you'll feel more put together, confident and your personality will surely shine right thru. I would even paint my nails red, add a red lipstick, put on my highest heels...basically GLAM-UP! 💄

For a night like this, my favorite dresses would have to be lace. I mean, it can't get more romantic than this. Also, add to it a high leg slit, playful sleeves and you'll sure be able to make an impression. Yep, I'm describing exactly this dress. It's my absolute FAVORITE! 💃 OLEEEEEÉ! I can even go dancing in it after dinner! That's if my man has got some rhythm! 🤣

 

CASUAL DATE

There is always the option of a casual date. One that involves going to the movies or maybe going bowling. Super fun and something that you'll enjoy just as much as long as you love the person you're with. 

For this kind of date, it's perfectly fine to go with denim jeans. Pick the pair you feel most sexy in and from there start building your outfit. You can choose your look upon the Valentine's Day theme colors: red, pink or purple. Add touches of them in your accessories or if you're feeling bold wear them. 

I love the combination of red and pink together. They would look even more cute on Valentine's Day. For example, wear a red sweater and add a pink handbag the way I did or do it the other way around. These colors compliment each other so well and would make for one beautiful date look.

 

GALENTINE'S DAY

 Many times Galentine's day comes with a theme. You and your besties decide what to wear and what to do. For instance, you might get together at your friend's house and have the idea of everyone wearing heart shaped pajamas or you might decide to dress-up and go out for drinks. 

This year my friends and I are going to dress-up and go out. We decided to strongly highlight the theme of fur coats, so each one of us will be wearing one. Also, it's going to be super fun because we're going to indulge in Valentine's Day themed cupcakes (homemade).😋 I can't wait!!! It's going to be a full day of girl adventures!!!

For a day spend with your best gals...I think it would also be cute to wear a pleated maxi skirt, preferably one in a romantic shade and a nice blouse or crop top. And why not complete the outfit with white sneakers? 

Really anything will work for a date night with your besties! Decide your plans and dress accordingly.
