SUMMER ON THE EDGE!

Hello everyone,

During this season I naturally reach for more feminine, colorful pieces, but occasionally I still love adding some edge, at night time. That's when I come alive ( what living in Vegas does to you...LOL!). So when the mood is right, I choose leather, wild prints, unique geometric jewelry, and as you can guess, the outcome is a whole lot of SASSY. It's fun, even keeps me on my toes because I never know what kind of wild combination I might think of. These outfits end up being my most memorable ones... yet, I keep count of how many times I'm able to surprise myself...hahaha!       

This is one of those times since I keep wanting to wear this outfit I'm about to show you, over and over again. My kind of cup of coffee, if you know what I mean! It gives me an attitude I never thought existed within me. LOL!

Something else a bit crazy is that I never used to wear or like anything animal print. Now, my all time favorite print is leopard. This just shows how mature we get with time! 😂 My closet has become one wild predator thanks to this obsession of mine.🐆  

       
The one item that lead me to creating this outfit is the clear vinyl hoodie, which is my absolute favorite. Not everyone will be a fan of it... my sister keeps wondering why I bought it, but hey, I love it, even though it makes me sweat like crazy. Not the best idea when going out dancing, which is what I did the same day I received it, but I'm full of normal genius ideas like this one. hahaha!

To accompany the edge of this print, I knew from the start a leather skirt would do it. Skirts have totally taken a leading spot, even beating my love for dresses. I wear them most often with crop tops or cute simple tees like this yellow one. Having a pop of color is the most important thing to me in the world...(just kidding or am I?) I do enjoy my brights! They make me extra happy!

LINEN LEAF DAYDREAM!

Hello everyone,

One of the greatest things about summer style is that you can go all out with your prints. I love taking the spring florals into summer, having cute pink flamingos or tropical leaf prints dancing in the hot summer breeze in the form of a flowy dress or a set duo. It feels refreshing, summery and makes me extra happy!!!

Besides the fun I get to have with prints, this season I've been into more linen pieces than previous years because it turns out linen saves the day every time. When the temperatures rise, the linen fabric lets the body breath, doesn't stick like the well know cotton and is ideal if you live on the west coast where things gets extra toasty. hahaha

So here we have my definition of a summer daydream! This set completely wins me over with the leaf print. It's like a drawing on a canvas, in this case a "walking canvas" made to strike an emotion in you... share yours in the comments down below? 

What else is there to say besides loving this print, I like having palm trees in my photos. They create the vacation vibes that we all dream of during the summer and I can't get enough (that sounds like a song title) LOL! Yep, it is!

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE: MY PICKS!

Hello everyone, 

YAY, the most awaited annual sale is back!!! Get ready to stock-up on summer and fall pieces at discount prices. Everything from shoes to accessories and trendy items you won't want to miss. I've got a list of things I want to get and finally the time has come for me to get WILD (with shopping, of course).

Peal Stud Strap Swing Top & Palm Printed Linen Pants 

 How cute and vibrant is this duo? To me this made the perfect summer set, which lit up my world as soon as I opened my box. I was really hoping for something pink because since the beginning of this season, I constantly thought about adding neon pink to my wardrobe. And here we are... my Fashom stylist read my mind! 

This is the kind of outfit that immediately takes you to a summer vacation. Exactly how I want to feel and where I want to be... somewhere tropical with no care in the world! Any suggestions? 

I love the linen pants that feel as light as wearing shorts and the pretty pearl detail on the straps of the top. It gave me all the feels! The details to me are super important. 

Multiple Strap V-Neck Top & High-Low Skirt 

 Again we've got more colors to fit my personality! My love for colors is never-ending... which I can't complain about because when I open my closet I see a rainbow of colors that make me happy each morning as I get ready for the day. 

Here I've got a flowy skirt with a similar top as the first one, but green. My life has definitely become greener since I've been wearing it LOL! Try it out for yourself!

Knit Net Top With Dolman Sleeves 

And the very last piece that I found in my Fashom box is this feminine ray of sunshine. It's light, breezy and as you can see has the coolest sleeves. Ideal for the summer and beyond! 

Right away, I knew I wanted to wear it with my pencil denim skirt. Letting the top take the attention it deserves. 

Which piece do you love the most and what do you think about this styling service? 
I've come to the conclusion that it's so fun to have someone else style you for once. Even more so when they know your style as much as your best friend. My sister was totally impressed by how much these items fit me and my personal style. I dress in color everyday!
