FUEL YOUR LIFE THIS FALL!

Hello everyone,

Right now thriving in your own life is most important than ever. When things seem they can easily go south, our mental health can give us hope. For that to happen, this season we need to focus a bit extra on ourselves...our needs and inner love. It's mandatory, just like wearing our masks when going out!

Plus, with the change in weather, we can still feel rejuvenated even when we're spending more time at home. There are so many wonderful things you can do for yourself. No, you don't need a special holiday or some kind of life crisis reminder. You just need a good idea and to take some time out of your day for YOU

Today, I'm here with lots of fun ideas for thriving during the autumn season! Once your tank is full with love, you'll for sure be able to spread it elsewhere. So, this post is especially made for YOU! I know we all could use need something to uplift our spirits and give us hope that YES, the best is yet to come!😉

Are you READY to fuel your life? Stay until the end if you want to learn how to make the healthiest chocolate almond brownies! A recipe perfected by my sister. 🥰

First thing's first...to keep healthy throughout the fall/winter seasons, continue making these healthy smoothies. They're the best kind of natural vitamins to indulge and keep you save during the flue season. With a NutriBullet you can literally make various smoothies each day. I love mixing different fruits every time, like bananas with pineapple or apples with a spoonful of peanut butter. You can even add greens! I'm more of a "sweet fruits" kind of smoothie drinker. I leave all the greens for my sister! hahaha Making smoothies is something I try to do even after summer is over because more than ever, during the fall, we need our body to feel taken care of in the best way possible.

Take relaxation to another level with a comfy bean bag in which you can enjoy a nice movie or even take a nap. These are literally the best invention ever for "home souls" who enjoy spending time at home. It feels like a hug and suddenly it becomes tricky to want to ever get up. Won't blame you for that...this is your time!

Also, one thing I do is I move my workouts from outside to indoors. For that I have a few dumbbells and resistant bands to help keep me in my best shape. Working-out is part of my routine as it sends my mind and body the right message...that I care and want there to be balance and harmony between the two. So, even if you take from 20 to 30 minutes for a quick active workout, you'll see the difference in your energy and mood. And a little sweat glow always looks fabulous!!!

Thrive through the season with Vitamin C packs. Super simple...you dissolve one pack in your bottle of water and drink it up. It doesn't require any prepping time. It's too good for you not to add to your day. Whenever you don't feel like making a smoothie, go for this pack because it will give you the needed nutrients and help boost your whole day.

Fuel your day with a at-home mani/padi. Always and forever I love taking care of my nails. With this all-in-onebset you can sand, file, buff and shine your nails. I LOVE IT! It's the best kind of therapy for me...completely helps me relax and be in the moment. What woman doesn't love that? Once I get them shiny and clean, I enjoy painting them different colors, adding glitter or even trying new designs. It's so much FUN!

I think we all love a good warm bath, that's why I suggest making yourself a salt bath just before going to bed. It will take all the toxins out and give you the right mindset for a nice sleep. Turn off your phone and make it happen! This is one of these small things, which can make you sooooooo happy!

While having your bath, add a face serum that will make you feel five years younger. Afterwards you'll be shocked by what you see in the mirror. The best kind of shock!
Applying skincare always feels like a spa day to me because I completely loosen up from the pretty smell of aromas and the instant hydration my skin receives. It fills me up with love! Because of that, I do it daily even on days when I get home late.

Wanna know what can keep you living longer? Eating more healthy meals. This Blue Zones recipe book is inspired by that...the blue zone locations around the world where people live the longest. Each one has a delicious recipe, which you can have fun making at home. Even more enjoyable is if you have someone to cook with and later share the dish. This activity would sure give you some quality time with your loved one and help connect you through your love for food.

Another way to instantly feel brand new is by freshening-up your hair color. You can even try a new color, which you might have always wanted to see yourself in. This simple act can boost your confidence and make you feel like autumn isn't so bad, after all.

Did you know...karaoke also increases longevity? Yep, that's why I'm always singing. hahaha This is the most fun activity ever!!! Ironically, a few hours ago, I was singing because I was learning the lyrics to one of my new favorite songs. I recommend buying a microphone and getting the party started in your home. In minutes you'll notice how your mood changes even if you don't have the voice of Adele! haha

And as promised, here is the recipe to help sweeten your soul a bit more this fall!

10 FALL ITEMS YOU NEED!

Hello everyone,

I'm back to talking fall fashion because, well, there is a LOT to talk about! hahaha This season we might not be shopping as often (compared to last season), that's why it's important to make smart choices on any new purchases. This includes items, which can really last us a lifetime. How will you know? I can help you by introducing you to some of the current most sought-out pieces.

You'll find out what's trending. Wanna know what's even better? A lot of these pieces you can find in your husband or boyfriend's closet. Why? Because this season the BIGGEST trend is everything oversized! If you don't have a partner whose closet you can raid, sneak into your dad's closet. Yep, you heard it first here!!! Sometimes you've got to do what's best for YOU! 😁

Now that we've got our "secret plan" in full effect it's time to think fall fashion. What does your personal style look like during this time of year? What do you like to wear most often?

These 10 items above are your perfect autumn staples. Why? Because each is trendy on its own and can literally be styled to infinity. YESSSS! 💯

As I mentioned earlier it's best to go for oversized pieces since that is super trendy right now. I wouldn't recommend going super crazy with both top and bottom looking baggy. Pick one! You might want to add oversized pants with a cute cashmere sweater. If you want to keep the top half of your outfit more loose and comfy, make sure at the bottom you're balancing it out with something more fitted. That's what I would do because I definitely don't want to look like a larger-than life bag.

Some pieces totally worth investing in are shackets (shirt & jacket into one), wide leg flare denim jeans, knee high boots, oversized blazer, cool clear blue light glasses (they help eliminate the blue light from screens) and geometric prints or any punky plaids.

These autumn 2020 trends are making me super excited about experimenting with new styles. I'm looking forward to giving the oversized trend a try because if you know me, you would know I love more fitted clothing. However, I'm always up for a little fun and this most likely will give me a chance to fall in love with new looks. Is that something you would like to see soon on the blog?

Do you already own any of these items? Which one, would you love to get first?

ROAD TRIP SERIES: SAND HOLLOW STATE PARK, UTAH!

Hello everyone,

Just like that summer is BACK as I got to spend this past weekend on the beach where I'm most happy! A road trip to Utah, a full day of adventures, and in the end, happy feet with shoes full of sand. This place has it all...dreamy blue waters, red sandstone landscapes, sand dunes and the warmest October breeze. I can keep going and going! Just remember the name...it's called Sand Hollow State Park. No matter what month, what day, what year...you've got to visit it!!!

On top of that, it offers amazing trails for riding ATV's through the sand dunes for the wild at heart, boating for the party seekers, fishing for the mellow hearts, camping for the home bodies on wheels and epic backdrops for the instagrammers. Everyone under the stars can be fully satisfied here! And you know what's interesting? This state park opened not long ago to the public in 2003. This makes it one of the newest, and so far, most popular in Utah.

You'll find Sand Hollow State Park near the town of Hurricane. The drive there is fun as there is lots to look at. You won't even feel when you've reached your final destination. Also, it won't hurt if you sing along to some music, the way my sister and I like to. Yep, we're super vocal! Just imagine what happens when two powerful voices come together! hahaha!🤣 MAGIC! 😉

What do you say we continue this road trip series together? Instead of sitting at home, imagine you're with us...laughing, swimming, taking photos, getting a Starbucks along the way and having an all-day FEEL GOOD, HAPPY kind of day!

Wanna hear something funny? The coat that I dragged with me on this road trip (you won't see it in the photos) was the laugh of the show between my sister and I. I took this white winter wool coat, which doesn't go with these views at all and would have been a complete disaster in these high temperatures. It took its part in the back seat of the car where it belonged. I was destined to enjoy this beach day in my swimsuit, the sun kissing my skin with light sounds of water splashing against the vivid rocks.

Thankfully, I did manage to bring a bathing suit. It's a lifesaver when you know there's going to be water. Also, the cool thing about Sand Hollow is that you can do rock diving. There are lots of rock islands, some higher than others from which you can jump. That is of course, if you're an adrenaline thriller who likes to play by his own rules.

As for the outfit here, I think it's save to say that when road tripping it's best to wear simple, comfortable clothing. With each trip, I'm starting to feel/see the importance of choosing comfort over style (a bit difficult for me). With a few more road trips behind me, I think I will definitely do a post about what to wear when going on a road trip. Keep on the lookout for this post and be sure to follow my blog!

Aside from being at the beach, feeling summer again, this day brought the most glorious sunset to end our Utah trip. The whole sky was a palette full of colors dancing with one another. One of these sunsets that will always be stuck with me. It was beyond incredible!!!

Are you planning any road trips soon?

Here's a list of the whole series thus far:

Will add more as we continue road tripping to new places! See you next time!!!
