HAIR ACCESSORY TRENDS 2019!

Hello everyone,

Today we're going to set aside the style trends for a bit and focus more on the trends on our heads... hahaha! Really just taking some of the most popular hair accessory trends we saw on the runways and recreating them in our day to day lives. For me, it's a fun way to try something different; a great outlet for making my outfit stand-out even more. I'm sure you're familiar with these trends and a lot of you are already rocking them!!!

Just like I like changing things up in my looks, I like trying to do the same with my hair whether that means adding a braid, hat or a few bobby pins for a cool edge. It takes creativity, which is what I like the MOST!!! Coming up with something that shows off who you are and at the same time allows you to freely express yourself.

From Gucci to Marc Jacobs, designers took us on a wonderful adventure where the hair accessories were just as important as the clothing. Let's see if I can do the same for you by showing you my ways of taking these same trends and making them my own.😉

1. Hair Clips/Barrettes

By now I'm sure you've seen them everywhere... the old school hair clips, which I rocked every single day of my childhood (LOL), the logo hair pins and the signature barrettes. They're back with a BANG! They're super cute to wear on any hairstyle! As you can see they work great with my bob haircut...having one side of my hair pinned slick in the front.

I like all the different designs, which you can mix and match as you go. It's really all up to you...you can play with your hair until you think you've got the perfect clip combination. Without a doubt, I think this is such a cool trend. I'm so glad it's back!!! Reminds me how much I wanted to grow out my curly bangs when I was little, so I wore hair clips constantly and never allowed them to be touched... Oh the joys of being a kid!😂

2. Scrunchies

Next come the scrunchies, which help make the ideal bun look so stylish. Lots of fun prints, colors and fabrics to choose from. And the best part is they easily stay on all day without tugging at your hair like hair ties.

There are bow, even ribbon scrunchies to "put a smile on your hair" hahaha! I know my hair is smiling wide right now!!!

3. Headbands

Just when you think you might be having a "bad hair day" you can pop one headband on and no one will ever know. Our tiny little secret...shhh!

I think headbands will live on forever and ever. It's a beautiful hair accessory because it truly makes a difference in your style.

Imagine this outfit above without one. It would be a bit more simple... the headband for sure makes it a hundred times more interesting. Wouldn't you say the same?

What's your favorite trendy 2019 hair accessory? Will you be trying out any of these this coming season?

                                                                                                                                  Love, Radi

VACAY READY: SPRING BREAK!

Hello everyone,

Let me hear you scream loud... SPRING BREAK! The time to get together with friends, loosen up, enjoy a vacation or two, make, or better yet, drink, cold cocktails, have music blasting only if you're brave enough to start dancing... you got the idea!😉 All the good times that come with spring break!!!

My thoughts are beginning to drift... I'm starting to imagine a palm leaf giving me a nice breeze, a breathtaking view in miles of crystal blue water, the sun happily warming up every part of me, the joy of being present and soaking it all in. What are your spring break fantasies?

My whole look and even photos today are inspired by the most FUN time of this season. I've got the lace, the bathing suit, the embroidery, the palm tees, the music playing inside my head to get us excited for a spring break that looks and feels just like a musical LOL!

Swimsuits:

First thing's first, every spring break needs new swimsuits to splash in. Colorful ones that put a smile on your face, give you the confidence to let your personality shine and ones you can mix or match for everyday.

I'm really into one piece swimsuits because the ones I own are cut just how I like and show/keep a mystery, just the perfect amount. Also, if I get sunburn, this way it won't be my whole body... less painful and less body parts to worry about hahaha.

You might have mistaken this white top for a bodysuit, but it's actually a swimsuit. Wearing it, I was ready to dip into the pool even more so with these palm trees around me. What I liked about it is that it's white and has got my favorite roses embroidery... so beautiful, I'm willing to wear it as an everyday piece.

Cover-Ups:

Once I have my swimsuit picked out, I like to have a few cover-up options. Something easy to throw on like a kimono or a duster, which can get me from the hotel room to the beach in minutes. Again, I like to keep it in light spring colors, so it goes with the pretty surroundings and the season.

This lace duster is a favorite of mine for so many reasons. It immediately gives me those chill laid-back tropical vibes that I love. And most importantly I can never turn down anything in lace! How about you?

Fedora Straw Hats:

Lots of sun to be seen, so for sure you'll need a cute straw hat. Same as sunglasses, hats are a must. The two combined make you look extra stylish and "cool" for spring break. During this time, I think accessories are to be taken full advantage of because they can complete the look you're going after.

Do you have any plans for spring break? I'll be sure to hit the pool every chance I get, so I can be tan, ready for the summer and a special event that is coming up in May. Stay tuned to find out more!

                                                                                                                                   Love, Radi

4 EASY WAYS TO WEAR A DENIM SHIRT!

Hello everyone,

Spring is here, so is the opportunity to layer less and less as the temperatures keep rising like good old times. For that reason, it's time to think light, start adding colors and even a bouquet of flowers to your looks hahaha!

For me one of the best pieces to help you transition into spring is a denim shirt. And today, I'll show you just how easy it is to style it into four various outfits. It takes minimum effort because denim goes with everything. Plus, I love pieces that make one's life easier when it comes to dressing and saving time doing so. We all have busy schedules and goals to chase, so let's do it in a FASHIONABLE way!!!

1. Wrap Around Your Waist

This is literally my favorite way "to play" with the denim shirt when I feel like my outfit needs something extra. Honestly another reason is to cover up my mini skirt because it turns out it isn't called mini for no reason LOL! I mean I can barely sit if I don't have something wrapped around my waist and if I do, you know what happens...let's not go into details.

This is an outfit, I feel many of you will love because it's got an effortless everyday touch to it, which you can wear this spring. All you need is to choose your favorite cami top, skirt, wedges and don't forget the denim shirt for a "secret undercover" to help cover up and add style.

2. Make It a Denim Fiesta

Hands down a "denim fiesta" might be better than a real one! LOL!

Another way to take your denim shirt to the next level is to turn your whole outfit into monochromatic denim. This means you can wear it with a denim skirt, shorts or jeans giving it that overall empowering feel. Tuck it in and watch it take you places... when I say places I mean, not only to the store, but also giving you a boost of confidence.

3. Tie as a Crop Top

To give it shape and a pretty sexy touch, I suggest tying your denim shirt as a crop top. Something you can do over a summer dress or romper to make it stand out more. If you're tired of wearing your summer clothes as they are, this is a great idea to change things up and make them a bit more interesting. What do you say/think about it?

This is the kind of trick I like to do when I want to make my clothes feel like new again and feel that same excitement of wearing them for the first time. It works and keeps me away from shopping too much!

4. Throw on as a Jacket

Like the rest of the outfits, a denim shirt has proven to be capable of creating something out of the ordinary. Same goes for this look where I knew adding this piece over my crop top as an open shirt would only make me double chic and fly. It has become the kind of staple I was searching for all along. Now I most likely wouldn't leave the house without a denim shirt!

I also like the way, it gave the whole outfit a bit more casual vibes, so you can totally wear this outfit during the daytime. Once it hits night time, you can take off the denim shirt and suddenly you're ready for cocktails. See what I did there?... thinking out-loud about my plans tomorrow hahaha!
