3 WAYS TO WEAR GINGHAM!

Hello everyone,

For a while now I've sent all other prints (stripes, plaid...) on a mini vacation because I've been non-stop into the checkers. I have recently been inspired to wear it a couple different ways and fully make gingham a wardrobe staple. In the end, everyone is happy as I hear the rest of the pattern crew is having a blast at the Caribbeans hahaha!

There are countless ways to add gingham into your style, but today I'm going to share with you the three ways that work best for me. However, as I discover more gingham style options, I'll be sure to once again update YOU.

Like a true #trendsenthusiast, I can't hide the fact that I'm one who looks forward to discovering the newest trends each season, and later, happily hits the mall to make them part of my "everyday runway". Yep, every time I head out, I dress as if I'm about to walk the BIGGEST, most fashionable runway of my life!!! You've got to live it as if it's already happening, right?

So check this out and be sure to let me know what you think of this print and how do you enjoy wearing it the most?

1. Mix With Another Print

Gingham alone makes a strong statement, but that doesn't mean you can't mix it up from time to time by pairing it with another print. In fact just GO for it! You can add a subtle set of stripes, or like I did, a tiny polka dots print. This way the checkers are still the first thing you notice, but they're backed up by another playful print.

I love the way two different prints can get united and make an outfit that speaks to you and your personal style. If that isn't love, passion and understanding...I don't know what is? 😂

I've been styling my overalls gingham skirt so many different ways, but this here is by far my favorite because it's super unique, requires a bit more thought, unlike just pairing with a simple tee, which is also fine, but I like a bit of a challenge when it comes to figuring out interesting ways to wear prints. What do you prefer... would you go for mixing patterns or do you like to sticking to one at a time?

2. Add Gingham Accessories

If gingham isn't your "cup of coffee" and you can't see yourself wearing it full on, but still want to give it a shot, accessories is the way to go. Go for a mini checkered print bag or a cute pair of strappy sandals in this print. It will do just wonders; you'll feel both trendy and still true to yourself! That's what really it all comes down to!!!

I have this gingham cabby hat that I just pop-on when I want to go all out and be an agent undercover for a day LOL! I add a pair of sunglasses and you can never recognize me (best part). hahaha

As always, accessories are a game changer for me. Something I look forward to adding to my outfits! I may be weird, but it's the same excitement as when I walk by a store or a restaurant and hear my favorite song playing!!!

3. Stand Out in Gingham

Got a one of a kind gingham piece you love to dress up or layer no matter the season? I do! That's my favorite pattern skirt of all times. I wear it in the winter with tights and easily in the summer with a cami top or a tee. It's just meant to stand out!

You might have checkered print pants or a ruffled blouse that is the IT item for you, the one that you create your whole look around because you just love it lots and want it to take center stage. Everyone needs a "one of a kind" showstopper! What's yours?

How nice is this look? It gets me a bit more excited for the next season (even though I love summer) because I get to wear these same booties, fur coat and tights all over again. Really, as the seasons change, I mostly look forward to my wardrobe changing! (I know every fashionista would agree with me!)

Are you a fan of the trendiest print of the season or does this print take a bit more getting used to? If you LOVE it, how do you prefer styling it?

Happy weekend!

                                                                                                                                  Love, Radi

5 MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE PLACES IN LAS VEGAS!

Hello everyone,

Living in the BIG city has its advantages. Living there for more than ten years even more. That's why Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps (literally) feels more like my own backyard. I can't say that I'm an expert, but I do know some cool places that are so instagrammable it'll make your feed blow UP!

Whether you're visiting or wanting to find some new locations to shoot at, I'm here to help you out. These are the spots that I seem to always go back to when I want a fun, city backdrop or vibrant colors to catch the eye. Plus, as always, even though I live here, I try to see my city from the eye of a tourist as it makes me want to explore even more and have a fabulous time doing so. So put on your favorite outfit, grab your camera, call your bff and head to these five Vegas places for some fun in the sun!!!

1. THE LAS VEGAS STRIP

The first and most obvious (the reason millions of people visit Las Vegas each year) is the fabulous strip of casinos, shopping centers, clubs, shows... basically everything you ever dreamed off. Each corner is filled with photo opportunities. You would want to take more than one outfit to change into because you'll end up taking more than two hundred photos and the last thing you want is to be wearing the same outfit in all of them hahaha!

There's lots to do and see on the Strip! No matter the time, keep in mind it's always full of tourists, so don't get discouraged by the moving crowds. You might have to wait a bit for a clear spot, but once you get that shot it'll be goals! I've been to the Strip early mornings, mid-days, late nights and the people only seem to increase in count, so be mentally ready to do it for the gram!!!

My favorite places to take some photos are in front of the look-a-like Paris Eiffel Tower, the dancing Bellagio fountains and the High Roller (the world's largest observation wheel). Backdrops like these will immediately enhance your outfit and make for one picture perfect moment.

2. RED ROCK CANYON

This is my favorite place to shoot at because it's around a thirty minute drive from where I live, there's lots of different colored shaped rocks and there's nothing wrong with flooding your Instagram with some desert vibes. Am I right?

If you end up staying at the Red Rock Hotel and Casino, you're in luck, because the canyon is only minutes away. However, far from the Strip! You'll need a whole day of exploring starting from early morning as there are plenty of cute cacti or trails ready to be snapped away. Just know, it's a desert, gets way hot and you've got to wear sunscreen or else you'll end up looking like a red crab in your 10th photo. I'm guessing you don't want that!!! LOL!

If you're willing to hike and find along the way a nice stop for photos, why not? I've done that plenty of times as I get a nice exercise and dreamy photos both in one. Plus, your shots will be so unique as not many people will take on a hike for a photo!

3. HOUSE OF ALCHEMY JUICE BAR+CAFE

Don't let your Instagram account miss a cute chill vibe cafe like this one. If you're visiting Vegas, you've got to make a stop here for a cup of coffee or their yummy acai bowl. The setting is so bright and colorful, you'll want to recreate it in your own home. At least that's how I felt when I visited it for the first time.

As a loyal customer, I went there two days ago and guess what? It was closed for renovation. So I don't know exactly when they're going to re-open, but once they do, I'll be one of the firsts to check it out hahaha!

So stay tuned for more information and photos on my Instagram. I'll give you a peak of the new look and I'll let you know once they're open again. Cross your fingers it's very soon!!!

4. DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

If you're into art and like a pop of color in your photo background, Downtown Las Vegas is the place for you. It's filled with the most amazing walls of graffiti as you roam around from one street to another. Your inspiration level will strike at its highest because there is no way for this beauty not to rub off on you.

Every time I go to Downtown, I come across something new, cool, that is just ready to be snapped. I even feel like the walls get repainted each time with a new design since I see so many vibrant walls I still haven't photographed at.

Here is your chance to take full advantage of these urban vibes and let your creativity shine!

5. SEVEN MAGIC MOUNTAINS

Located a bit outside the Las Vegas desert, you'll find this colorful painted rocks exhibition that is simply a location you must add to your travel list. The best time to visit is as the sun rises to see the amazing hues, colors pop even more from the pretty sunlight. Plus, during that time there aren't many people. We went there in March before sunrise and we were the only ones there, so we had this place all to ourselves for lots of photos and moments to be admired.

It is said that this art exhibition will be a two-year one, so visit as soon as you can because later it won't exist, something else will take its place. No worries about paying for parking, parking is free!

This place will sure get you lots of Instagram likes and just imagine how pretty it'll look on your feed.

So what do you think of these Vegas Instagrammable spots? Have you been to any of them?
A few more locations come to mind, so if you're interested I'll make a second part in the near future.

Really, I'm so happy to live in a city that is full of adventure, diversity and so much to see and do. It's the BEST ever!!!

What do you admire the most about the city you live in? I would love to know!!!

                                                                                                                                       Love, Radi

JULY FAVORITES!

Hello everyone,

With August already upon us, this July I had the chance to fall for NEW favorites that made this month memorable and fun for me because I'm not only talking about fashion or beauty - I got to enjoy some activities (keep reading to find out more) that brought me even closer to my true-self, helped me clear my head and let go of everything I thought was "suppose to" already be happening in my life. A huge weight, the size of these rocks in the picture above, was lifted off my chest, back, legs... hahaha!

This kind of thing happens to all of us, which is why I encourage you to find a hobby that lets you wash away everything you might have been holding deep inside of you. Like boxing, painting, driving for hours without a plan or simply sitting outside your balcony in the fresh night air under the stars. What's your favorite way of connecting back to your true-self?

I know this got a bit deep, but I like talking about life; figuring out why we react to certain things the way we do, why we go through so many different stages in our lives, why some people see life as a gift, others don't think it's treating them right.... so many questions that I'm intrigued to know the answers to. Really, it's the kind of conversation I love getting into because it's interesting to find out what other people's opinions/beliefs are.

Back to my favorites as I know this is what you came here for.
Here are my July favorites! (If you find some of them match yours as well, let me know).

1. Activity- Hiking

This year and especially this month, hiking has been my favorite activity. I know you might think it's a bit too hot for that, but I don't mind it at all. I get up a bit earlier than usual, slap on some sunscreen, put on some comfy clothes and head out for something I call a "morning pleasure".

This happens almost every Sunday as I emerge into the peaceful world of desert, rocks, far away city views, and nature sounds.

Thankfully, the Red Rock Canyon (closest to me) is filled with lots of various trails to explore and get lost in (hasn't happened to me yet)😂. I even have a seasonal pass, so I can go as often as I like. I think I've turned into a hiking freak!!! LOL!

2. Beauty- SEPHORA Mud Mask

When days get longer, all I want to do is end it by purifying the face with a mud mask that gives me a full-on detox. This is the best one I have used so far!!! Its got zinc and copper, ready to leave your skin feeling soft, clean and youthful. Who doesn't want just that?

I've used it after my sweaty weekend hikes, once I get out of the shower. Leave it on for about 15 or 20 minutes and my happy spirit lifts even more, proving that it really is the little things that help take care of yourself, so you feel your best!

This is the kind of favorite that I would want to add to every month because it's that good, and I promise you, you'll end up loving it as well.

3. Breakfast- Acai Bowl

July was the month the most acai bowls were swallowed hahaha! I think I beat my record high of three. I love having one for breakfast as I enjoy having fruits and granola in one, mixed into a delicious start to my day (make your own). Not only are they yummy, but so Instagramable as I can't go without firstly taking a photo of it. Like a pretty rainbow, you want to capture it for good!

Beside being very healthy, they refresh me in the summer. A better alternative to having ice-cream everyday... just saying! Mine is always accompanied by a cup of coffee (my first love for life!).

4. Beauty- Fenty Killawatt Highlighter

This is the highlighter and overall brand I completely 100% stand behind because I love everything I have tried so far... the foundation, the lipsticks, the eyeliner and this highlighter duo that creates the most beautiful colorful dimension from the eyes to the cheekbones. I love it for the summer as it gives me the perfect glow! I even use it as an eyeshadow across my lids for an easy effortless summer look that gets me ready in seconds.

So naturally I've been glowing all throughout the month (no I'm not pregnant- hahaha) because I've been using this Killawatt duo every time. It lights up my face, and once the sun hits all the right spots, the effect is beyond stunning. If you've got one of these highlighter duos, then you know exactly what I mean! And if you don't, trust me, you've got to get one!

5. Accessory- Timex Watch

With a classy watch like this on my wrist, I feel like I've got all the time on my hands to do what I love doing the most - that includes listening to music, dancing, styling different looks, jumping into fun activities and enjoying the little things I've mentioned in this post! As they say, time is valuable, so I prefer to make great use of it by filling it up with lots of happiness.

This is the second watch I own by this brand because I love their authentic, yet classic styles that are made to accompany you throughout your day no matter the occasion. It completely fits into your lifestyle like a key piece to a puzzle.
