Right now thriving in your own life is most important than ever. When things seem they can easily go south, our mental health can give us hope. For that to happen, this season we need to focus a bit extra on ourselves...our needs and inner love. It's mandatory, just like wearing our masks when going out!
Plus, with the change in weather, we can still feel rejuvenated even when we're spending more time at home. There are so many wonderful things you can do for yourself. No, you don't need a special holiday or some kind of life crisis reminder. You just need a good idea and to take some time out of your day for YOU.
Today, I'm here with lots of fun ideas for thriving during the autumn season! Once your tank is full with love, you'll for sure be able to spread it elsewhere. So, this post is especially made for YOU! I know we all could use need something to uplift our spirits and give us hope that YES, the best is yet to come!😉
Are you READY to fuel your life? Stay until the end if you want to learn how to make the healthiest chocolate almond brownies! A recipe perfected by my sister. 🥰
First thing's first...to keep healthy throughout the fall/winter seasons, continue making these healthy smoothies. They're the best kind of natural vitamins to indulge and keep you save during the flue season. With a NutriBullet you can literally make various smoothies each day. I love mixing different fruits every time, like bananas with pineapple or apples with a spoonful of peanut butter. You can even add greens! I'm more of a "sweet fruits" kind of smoothie drinker. I leave all the greens for my sister! hahaha Making smoothies is something I try to do even after summer is over because more than ever, during the fall, we need our body to feel taken care of in the best way possible.
Take relaxation to another level with a comfy bean bag in which you can enjoy a nice movie or even take a nap. These are literally the best invention ever for "home souls" who enjoy spending time at home. It feels like a hug and suddenly it becomes tricky to want to ever get up. Won't blame you for that...this is your time!
Also, one thing I do is I move my workouts from outside to indoors. For that I have a few dumbbells and resistant bands to help keep me in my best shape. Working-out is part of my routine as it sends my mind and body the right message...that I care and want there to be balance and harmony between the two. So, even if you take from 20 to 30 minutes for a quick active workout, you'll see the difference in your energy and mood. And a little sweat glow always looks fabulous!!!
Thrive through the season with Vitamin C packs. Super simple...you dissolve one pack in your bottle of water and drink it up. It doesn't require any prepping time. It's too good for you not to add to your day. Whenever you don't feel like making a smoothie, go for this pack because it will give you the needed nutrients and help boost your whole day.
Fuel your day with a at-home mani/padi. Always and forever I love taking care of my nails. With this all-in-onebset you can sand, file, buff and shine your nails. I LOVE IT! It's the best kind of therapy for me...completely helps me relax and be in the moment. What woman doesn't love that? Once I get them shiny and clean, I enjoy painting them different colors, adding glitter or even trying new designs. It's so much FUN!
I think we all love a good warm bath, that's why I suggest making yourself a salt bath just before going to bed. It will take all the toxins out and give you the right mindset for a nice sleep. Turn off your phone and make it happen! This is one of these small things, which can make you sooooooo happy!
While having your bath, add a face serum that will make you feel five years younger. Afterwards you'll be shocked by what you see in the mirror. The best kind of shock!
Applying skincare always feels like a spa day to me because I completely loosen up from the pretty smell of aromas and the instant hydration my skin receives. It fills me up with love! Because of that, I do it daily even on days when I get home late.
Wanna know what can keep you living longer? Eating more healthy meals. This Blue Zones recipe book is inspired by that...the blue zone locations around the world where people live the longest. Each one has a delicious recipe, which you can have fun making at home. Even more enjoyable is if you have someone to cook with and later share the dish. This activity would sure give you some quality time with your loved one and help connect you through your love for food.
Another way to instantly feel brand new is by freshening-up your hair color. You can even try a new color, which you might have always wanted to see yourself in. This simple act can boost your confidence and make you feel like autumn isn't so bad, after all.
Did you know...karaoke also increases longevity? Yep, that's why I'm always singing. hahaha This is the most fun activity ever!!! Ironically, a few hours ago, I was singing because I was learning the lyrics to one of my new favorite songs. I recommend buying a microphone and getting the party started in your home. In minutes you'll notice how your mood changes even if you don't have the voice of Adele! haha

I also like to do some of those things when fall arrived, to be honest, some of them are part of my regular routine like having good vitamin C intake and doing my nails (hands more often than feet). DeleteHey Radi,
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you! This is a tricky time and we must be aware of the things that can help us to drive through these difficulties.
Good recommendations, specially the Nutri Bullet (the best way to fight a virus, flus is to stay healthy) And thanks too for reminding me about vitamin C. I use it in skincare, but not that much in my daily meals or as an extra suplemment!
Pablo
Hey Fungi
This is a great post, Radi! I love Vitamin C products. Another supplement I take is black elderberry. So good for your immune system.
