HOBBY LOBBY CHRISTMAS HAUL!

Hello everyone,

Here it is again... the season of giving, sparkling, laughing and decorating! 🎄

It's so EXCITING especially when you have close family and friends to share the holidays with. I know for a fact I will be spending Christmas with my family just like I always do. This year I've been very productive with decorating a bit earlier and already having bought half of the presents. Call it a miracle because I usually end up doing things last minute. How are you spending the holidays this year? Do you feel the excitement in the air?

This time of year, the picture of the city covered in a white blanket of snow is missing, but the beauty and joy of holiday cheer is present at home. Wherever you turn, there is twinkling lights, cute Santa decorations, lovely candle smells and lots to be thankful for. To turn our house into a home that you would find on the front cover of a Christmas card, we went shopping at Hobby Lobby. Call me crazy, but I didn't even know about this magical store until I walked in. Well, a friend of mine always kept telling me she buys everything on sale there. I finally decided to check it out! Now I'm hooked! I dream of Hobby Lobby non-stop!😁 This is the main reason for this post to show you the awesome holiday stuff they have there and hopefully to get you inspired to decorate. You can never have enough snowmen staring at you!😂  

Where do you do most of your Christmas shopping?

As you can see I'm most definitely really into Santa!😂Who isn't? There's two of them. Without a Santa it wouldn't be Christmas, right?🎅 The bigger white one I placed under the tree is there to protect the presents, and of course, to add a nice décor to the whole tree. It looks really magical when the tree is lit up. Santa is most happy in his natural habitat!😁 

When it comes to decorating for any holiday, to me it's all about the small touches. You don't need to spend lots of money to add a festive feel to your home. I really like any adorable decorations like snow globes, cute snowmen...anything that you can easily display around the house. That's what I went for and I think it looks pretty good. Next year, I can add more bits and pieces, as each year the excitement for Christmas shopping builds up. 

My new obsession Hobby Lobby is so great because all the home décor items are 50% off, so you can really go for it. Plus, it's really easy to fill up your cart within seconds. You'll see what I mean once you step through the door!!!

3 WINTER OUTFIT IDEAS!

Hello everyone,

It's officially the season for hot peppermint coffee, big knit beanies, lots of layers and holiday cheer. Who's EXCITED? 

Okay, so Vegas isn't considered a winter destination, but we still have a few short months which we call "WINTER".😂 It really isn't even close to the harsh winters other countries get, however we still add a few layers and change up our color palette. 

As you're reading this post, keep in mind, these three winter looks may not be so ideal if you live somewhere it snows and is very cold. To me they're the perfect winter choices because they express my style. Also, I'm so happy Las Vegas winters allow me to still wear dresses or even crop tops... #LuckyGirl!

What does your winter wardrobe look like? 

For me, it mostly consists of summer styles, which paired with the right accessories and shoes I can turn into something...well, you'll see soon. I've come up with three different styles!!! Which one would YOU choose to wear? 

This first look is a total dream because it's dressy, yet edgy with these combat boots. It can't get any better than this, right? 

Also, it's the season for sweater dresses, which I love especially ones in festive red and greens for the upcoming holidays. I'll for sure be wearing this exact sweater dress for Christmas dinner with the family. Yep, I plan my outfits ahead of time!😉 I don't want to disappoint Santa! hahahah

While sweater dresses are fun to wear during the colder season, I always like to combine mine with some kind of cute tights whether that's fishnets or ones with a unique design. How about you? 

Since temperatures do drop once the sun goes down, the big coats come into play. It's nice to take them out of the closet, so they feel some fresh air too. I'm really into BIG fluffy, warm coats- ones that make me look like a teddy bear!🐻

Ohh la la...Let's get the PARTY started!!! 🎉 

This look is more of a party starter because of the exciting feathers.

What a cool staple for NYE or any party you might be going to! You can dress it down with a blazer and a pair of high-waisted jeans or fancy it up with  sequin pants (bring out your inner disco, let's boogie!) 

Do any of you already have your New Year's Eve outfit ready? So crazy, 2023 is only 47 days away! 😱 Got to make it a memorable one! Enjoy the good times, don't worry too much about the rest!

  

Continuing on with the fluffy theme, my third look has a handful of playful fringe all over it. It's the warmest sweater ever! Good thing sweater weather exists because every year I'm so drawn to buying new styles. I like huge chunky knits in different bright colors that will keep me not only looking stylish, but cozy too. What's you favorite sweater that you own and can't wait to wear every year?     

Any sweater, I like pairing with jeans or leggings. They're just so easy to style. It doesn't take having a degree in fashion to know how to style one. In the end it all comes to what makes you most comfortable and most YOU.

This outfit would be good for Thanksgiving dinner. It's definitely breathable. The last thing you want to wear is something tight, which will feel even worst after having a rich Thanksgiving dinner. You've got to think two steps ahead!!!😁

FUN FALL ACTIVITIES: MAKE YOUR OWN CANDLES!

 Hello everyone,

With autumn here there is nothing like spending more time at home, right? The only thing is sometimes we run out of things to do. Once we have rearranged our wardrobe, carved pumpkins, set up fall decorations and checked-off everything on our list, we can enjoy some quality time with friends and family. A fun activity to do all together is to make your own candles!!!

This is the season to get cozy and creative! Candle making is something I haven't done before, but always had the desire to try. Well, I finally did! It's very therapeutic and so interesting learning about the process of candle making. It actually takes some time and some accuracy to get the wax and oil to the right temperature, so the candle turns out just right. Also, this gave me an insight on how candles are made...I was curious to find out ever since my sister started working for a candle company. Well, now I know all the secrets! 😂

This is such a fun fall activity to do with your kids. They can choose the smells or help with the small tasks like pouring in the finished mixture. Cute little helpers are always needed!😁

One of the BEST things about this candle making kit is that it contains everything you need inside...you don't have to go out of your way and purchase things. It contains wicks, pretty decorative pods, a thermometer, a measuring cup, a few choices of essential oils and coloring blocks. Literally, all of the fun bits and necessities. I'll just tell you that there's something so nice about burning a candle later, which you know you made yourself. That feeling of creating something yourself is so empowering. FALL SHOPPING HAUL!

Hello everyone,

Ayyyy summer is slipping away, but one thing is for sure - nothing is more exciting than doing a little shopping for the NEW season. 

Exactly what I did recently! I added some new pieces, which I can start wearing as the summer days slowly fade away and fall starts creeping up on us. What have you been up to lately? 

A single glance at my closet, you'll be able to see that I'm a summer soul. That's not bad, but this year I decided I should stock-up on some cozy bits. You know, I need to balance things out!😉Plus, it's fun having more of an option when dressing for the colder days instead of just wearing the same jeans and a sweater. Variety is nice and cute at the same time!!!

Along with clothing, new skincare comes into play with the arrival of autumn. Don't be surprised if I drop a fall shopping haul part 2 because as you can see I'm taking this VERY seriously. Also, I always enjoy sharing new finds or gorgeous brands that maybe you would love as well. Let's share the love and let me show you the start of me getting my closet ready for the upcoming season. 

1. Two-Piece Workout Set

I do love a soft matching two-piece set in which I can workout and continue wearing even outside the gym. For this one, I had to go for the toffee fall color. It's so nice because the top bra is breathable, great for getting sweaty and the bottoms are not only comfortable, but also good for the numerous chilly days coming our way. 

Also, whether you feel confident enough to wear a tight two-piece set like this or not, you definitely should go for it because it will give you the boost to perform better and gradually help you build your confidence. Even if you don't care what you wear when working-out, you should treat yourself to nice, comfortable apparel. It makes ALL the difference inside and out! What do you usually wear to the gym?  

I've had these leggings and bra top for a week now and I'm so obsessed!😍 Feels so good to get active in them. Throw in a few punches, kicks or even spinning backfists! hahaha

         

2. Travelon Crossbody Bag

This isn't just a bag...it's an anti-theft bag! 

Super smart, takes away the worry of someone stealing your personal information like cards or keys. It's so amazing for traveling because there is no way anyone can even cut off the strap. Not only that, but it's so stylish! A WINNER for sure!

I wish I had it for the New York trip, but you know, it will be coming along on all future trips. The security is top notch. You can also fit all your must-have essentials- even a small camera and your phone. It's a must-have! This crossbody bag goes great with everything, so you can wear it everyday. You don't need to wait until you book a trip somewhere. 

It's one of those purchases, which I don't know how I have lived without before. You know what I mean?

       

3. Honest Beauty Facial Oil 

For awhile I have wanted to try the Honest Company! I have read and heard about it, but I never really knew just how affordable it is until I checked it out myself. Surprise...it's more affordable than you can imagine! Totally love this and the fact that this company is based around organic products, made for all skin types with truly nourishing ingredients. 

I'm so impressed by this facial oil!🔝 I've got it on right now...all over my neck and face. It's a good starter for me; a pleasant introduction to the brand and a great first choice that will lead me to building a whole Honest Beauty collection. Yep, I'm definitely getting everything else with the Honest logo on it! 

I have already got my eyes on the mascara, the shampoo, the lightweight moisturizer, the face cream, and ohhh, I can keep going on and on. Have you tried this brand yet?

     

4. Off the Shoulder Crop Top

Right now, it's still a bit too hot for sweaters, so I think the perfect piece to go for is an off-the-shoulder top with long sleeves. Super cute in bright orange! It can bring me back to the summers once autumn makes its entrance. I know we tend to go for darker colors during the fall/winter, but it's always a good idea to bring color back here and there, especially if it makes you smile.😁 

Of course, this top would be perfect with denim bottoms, but I think it can also be dressed down with high rise leggings. Why not? Especially on days you don't want to get super dressed up, but still want to put in an effort.

  

5. Denim Joggers

Denim is universal!💙 

No matter what type of denim clothing item it is, it goes amazing with everything. So the more denim, the merrier your wardrobe will be!😉

I had to add new denim joggers for this season. These are so cool and remind me of my childhood because of the side pockets. I used to wear that kind of style a lot when I was younger. Here I am bringing "wild side pockets Radi back" hahaha!

Usually, skinny denim jeans are my go-to. However, these ones are a little more casual which I like. Really good for everyday activities like doing errands and such. Also, let's not exclude brunch outings and other fun activities. What's your favorite style of denim jeans?

We all LOVE being inspired, whether that's a message we read or a song we hear, it's one of the BEST feelings ever. Right?

7. Pom-Pom Knit Sweater

Fall is more FUN with pom-poms!🥳 

I've wanted to get a sweater like this for awhile now, so this year I'm going to have all the fun. It's so nice because you can pair it with anything and everything on the bottom...leggings, jeans, shorts or a skirt. Very versatile and a good partner in crime to have when hopping from one season to the next. 

I like how cozy and pink it is! Imagine how great it would be to cozy up with it by the Christmas tree with a hot cup of coffee (caramel macchiato).😁 A dream come true!!!!

You can never go wrong with a cute, warm sweater. I look forward to shopping for new ones every year when autumn hits. Otherwise, I get cranky and you don't want to know what happens next...😂

WEEKEND SUMMER LOOKS!

Hello everyone,

With summer at its peak, there is always something fun to do (especially in Vegas) or always something cute to wear. Won't you agree? 

While my week is busy and basically sometimes feels like it repeats itself, weekends are my days off to change things up. That's when I get to put up some make-up, dress up a bit and do things I enjoy like going out dancing or checking out a new hotspot in the city. It's these moments that recharge me and get me ready for the new upcoming week! 

Saying all this, I decided it would be a great idea to show you the outfits I wore this past weekend starting from Friday night and ending with Sunday. Of course, they're colorful, summery and totally me. What has your summer style been like this year? 

Let's get started because there's lots to talk about!!! Plus, a few outfit changes happening a day. 😂  

FRIDAY NIGHT LOOK

 

Friday nights feel more than alright when heading out to dinner for a fun time! 💃

That's when I love to dress-up like I'm about to strut down the red carpet...😉In this case, we're talking about this vibrant flounce red dress. It's oh-la-la and more!!! And you know what? Fridays are my favorite day, so from time to time I like to get extra glammed up. An outfit that you feel amazing in always brings along a memorable time.  

What's your go-to Friday night look?

Summer season makes it so easy to find dresses to love. There's everything from flowy to maxi to exotic. You can find one which has everything that you in a single dress. Yep, the internet is that goooood! 😂 It can read your mind! ( Careful what you're thinking about right now!)        

SATURDAY DAY LOOK

Often during the weekend, I like being outside in the sun. You know, there is a reason summer is my favorite season! 😉 That reason is sunshine, wearing a yellow dress and day drinking. hahaha!

A few weeks ago I was craving (yessss, I get hungry for clothes) getting a new summer dress, so I decided to check out one of my favorite brands...SCOOP at Walmart! I came across this midi dress with fluttery sleeves and guess what? Yep, I bought it immediately! It also comes in adorable polka dots print, which is another beautiful summery daydreaming choice. 

Being out and about on Saturday, I though this is the perfect dress to wear with a pair of white sneakers. I got to go to one of the cutest coffee shops in town (a blog post is coming in the near future). 

What do you think of the bright yellow?💛 Makes you smile, doesn't it? I love it because you can effortlessly style this dress with a pair of wedges, which I have done as well.

      

SATURDAY NIGHT LOOK

Later on it was time to paint the town and of course change my look! 😁

I went to the Eiffel Tower Deck Viewing (ticket per person is $25) from which you can see every angle of not only The Strip, but the whole Vegas! Really Stunning! 😍 This is something I did way back, a few years ago. It felt like the first time revisiting this spectacular view...Las Vegas always seems to AMAZE me!!!

Since it was a special day, I decided to dress-up for it. A bit of nude tones, a bit of sheer zebra print and lots of curls. hahaha There were definitely tiny moments during which I regretted wearing these wedges because we walked from Bellagio to Paris. It's not a crazy walk, but once again, walking the Strip in high platforms is something I would never recommend, yet I do it every time. Ayyyyy! 🙉

What do you think of this outfit? I love it...fun to wear! One that can easily become a favorite night-out look.

    

SUNDAY LOOK

Sundays are for what? Lounging, eating and long bath spas...👌

It's my day to rest up, prepare for the upcoming work week and happily lounge around in my comfy, most favorite two-piece set. What do your Sundays look like? 

I'm so happy days like these exist! How about the fact that there are so many cute sets online? I can't get over it!!! This outfit can become a staple literally any day of the week. I got mine from Amazon. It's so easy to get into the habit of wearing loungewear all the time. The BEST feeling, right?!

HOW TO WEAR YOUR LINGERIE AS OUTERWEAR!

Hello everyone,

When you think of lingerie probably the first thing that pops-up in your head is bedroom. Nothing wrong with that, but guess what? You can definitely wear it as outerwear too! It's all in the way you layer...keeping it appropriate yet sexy! 😍

I really like lace lingerie pieces, which can work as bodysuits when styled just right. Wearing one for date night or happy hour is so perfect. Plus, they're great for spring time, very breathable and a lovely staple. 

While I wouldn't have worn lingerie as outerwear in my 20s, now it's a different story.😂 I'm here for it because it adds to that confidence that sexy lingerie tends to shower us with. Every woman loves and adores pieces that makes her feel this way! Am I right? 

What's your take on wearing your favorite lingerie outside the bedroom? Thumbs up or down for you? It might not be for everyone, but I think I can convince you to give it a try or at least go outside of your comfort zone a bit. Let me show you some tips and tricks!😉

First and most importantly when styling your lingerie - you've got to OWN IT! Don't be afraid to go for it 110 percent! Style can be bought, but confidence can't. And remember no one can rule your world the way lingerie can!😆

Here, I wanted to go for a spring look. Since my bodysuit is a deep green, I decided to work around it by sticking with the same hue throughout. Something fresh, light and great for day/night time. 

Not everyday in spring is meant for dresses and skirts. The weather can be unpredictable, so a light pair of jeans is a top option. I prefer the high-waisted style because I can add crop tees whenever I want.

You want a little bit of lingerie to show, so it's seductive but tasteful. It will keep people on their toes, hahaha. It's safe to say that if you throw on a cardigan, a blazer or a jacket you'll be making history. They should write that in your kids history book!!! 😂 It will be one to remember! Keep your choice of outerwear open (not zipped up), so part of your lingerie makes an appearance. 

Finally, with the blossom of roses, it's sandals time. No more cold feet and closed toe shoes! 😁 It's a blessing here in Vegas while I know many counties are still trying to get through the cold winter. Yep, this is your sign to move to Las Vegas!!!

NEW BRANDS I'M CURRENTLY LOVING!

Hello everyone,

Recently I've had time to try out new brands. It's becoming easier for me to explore different companies. I like giving them a chance especially when they're recommended by friends or owned by them. This is the case with most of the new discoveries I'm going to mention today!  

If you're a fan of any of them as well, let's fan out together! If you scream, I'll scream!!!😆

1. BROOKS

One of my top happy discoveries mostly for my feet is the brand Brooks. So good, it shocks me that I didn't know about them earlier. Thankfully a friend at the gym suggested I try their sneakers, and hooray, now I'm LOVING them. Thanks Val! 

One thing about their selection is they have endless colors, which are fun to style. Also, they're made for all kind of runners, whether you're a long distance runner or  you like the treadmill. Now that I own a pair of Brooks I spot them everywhere. hahaha!

The comfort of their sneakers(I have the Revel 4 white/black design) is something that totally won me over. I told everyone in my family, they need a pair. Yep, I'm an influencer now! 😂 I already have my eye on a purple duo I want to get next. A great color for the summer! 😉💜

2. HIT YOUR POTENTIAL

This brand is a personal favorite because it's created by two friends of mine. They're both very passionate about changing lives through a healthy lifestyle. They do it all from personal training to creating healthy meal plans. On top of that Meagan and Kain have started Hit Your Potential! 💪

The moment I found out they have their own brand, I wanted not only to support their brand, but also support their message. I really like the t-shirts, the inspirational hoodies, the resistance bands and everything else they're in the works of launching. I can't wait to see what's coming next!

One day Kain was working-out in this mint colored t-shirt. I commented on how much I like the color (that's when I still didn't know they have a personal brand.) He told me all about it, so immediately I said I wanted to buy one. I actually bought two, one in black as well.😉 Yep, now I'm their biggest fan!!!

It's really awesome seeing your friends strive and make their dreams come to life! 🙌 

Don't forget to Hit Your Potential everyday, take positive steps toward your goals and kill it like no other!      

3. NATIVE

For the most part I've always been stuck with using the same deodorant until one day I saw Native in the store and decided to try it. The clean packaging caught my attention and immediately after that the ingredients. Their products are vegan! So good for the body! 

I love lavender and rose, so I grabbed this one to try first. There are so many more to test out...coconut and vanilla, cotton and lily and a few limited addition scents. I think I'll go through all of them one by one. 

I like the feeling even when I've worked-out, this deodorant prevents stinky smell. Also, it isn't greasy like others. It can't be compared because it really is one of the BEST. Don't miss on this great product!  

4. RBX ACTIVE

I'm really on a roll for finding new amazing active brands in which it's comfortable and fun to sweat in. This is one of them...RBX Active! It's interesting how I discovered it! Let's start from the very beginning. 

My sister is actually the photographer for this brand. For two years now, she has been taking the photos each time a new collection was ready to launch. Usually, it's two girls being photographed out in nature wearing their latest two-piece sets, sneakers, tank tops and leggings. 

The challenge is finding two models who would be a good match, have a nice chemistry and can work together. So for a while, my sister has offered me to be one of the models. I was never hundred percent sure about it because I have always modeled by myself and got used to being solo. However, this time around I agreed because not only do I love their apparel, but I was super happy I got to model with our mutual friend, Meagan. ROAD TRIP SERIES: CALIFORNIA!

Hello everyone,

Happy Spring! 🎕

It has been a while since my last road trip post! I know many of you enjoyed that series I started a few years ago. I decided to bring it back. Plus, it was definitely time for another vacation...short, but sweet and dreamy.

In a way this was a spring break vacation, even though when we planned it we didn't think of it in that way. It kind of fit perfectly with the weather warming up, the flowers giving every street a mesmerizing pop of color, and the people seemingly enjoying the outdoors. The BEST place to witness it all is in California. 

With endless beach views, lots of mini restaurants and cute streets there was no doubt about making our way to California for the weekend. Plus, a special (secret) sunset photoshoot brought us to Malibu. Yep, it was pretty perfect!!! 💕

I got to revisit some of my favorite beaches like Santa Monica and Venice Beach. At the same time I was able to explore new locations like walking down the Venice canals (a historic must-see landmark), my happy feet splashing in the ocean in Malibu and going on two fun rides at the Santa Monica pier. Ohhh What FUN!

Along the Pacific is Malibu beach which is about 30 minutes away from Santa Monica (where we stayed at an Airbnb). That drive is very enjoyable as your eyes roam among the diverse beaches, restaurants and stunning houses. I wouldn't get tired of it passing by everyday!

The special photoshoot I mentioned earlier took place at Malibu beach. It was so amazing because you not only come across gorgeous scenery, but there are so many photoshoots taking place. Everything from graduations to proposals. Especially during sunset, the whole beach was filled with creatives capturing a memorable moment in someone's lives. It was so nice to see! Plus, you know you wouldn't get shy with lots of people doing the same as you.😉

Even though the sunset on that particular day was hiding behind thick clouds, I had an unforgettable time. I fell in love with Malibu within seconds! It was my first time being there, but I'll forever remember it. You know summer is coming, so Malibu is already running through my mind nonstop.💙   

 

Venice Beach:

The most unique scenery and such a famous landmark are the canals at Venice Beach. My first time ever seeing them was on TV in the romantic movie "Valentine's Day", which came out in 2010. A few scenes were filmed there, so it was such a cool experience finally being there in person. Who remembers that movie?

 Strolling through the canals all morning was a blast! It's so romantic and quiet...a little nice getaway from the lively atmosphere of Venice Beach. If you haven't visited yet, I promise you, you've got to add it to your list as the first thing you do when visiting Venice. Also, the houses there are majestic, each one has its own personal style. Bring a camera because you know every step will be an opportunity for a lovely snap. 📸  

One of the things I appreciated the most while in California is everything being so close. Restaurants, cafes and basically anything you need is a walking distance. Super cute! On the way back from our walk from the canals, we stopped at the Pier House for some breakfast. I ordered a shrimp omelette with a nice cold beer. So perfect, I wish I was there right now enjoying the outside atmosphere of people passing by and the lively conversations happening.      

Santa Monica: 

Would you agree? The BEST thing about a beach vacation is you can find a place to stay just a walking distance to the beach. We found an Airbnb only four blocks away from the Santa Monica Beach. So convenient because whenever we wanted, we could go out and enjoy the sunrise, sunsets and all the views in between...😍 Can't Get Enough! 

Also, how about the fun Santa Monica Amusement Park? Unlike any other pier, full of heart beating rides. I love the way the colorful lights brighten up the pier while watching the waves dance around it. On our first night there we decided to let our inner child rejoice by getting on the Pacific Wheel and then screaming with closed eyes on the West Coaster. The magic of living in the moment and feeling like a kid again was so sweet, I could do it again! 

Here are a few places to visit while in Santa Monica:

Main Squeeze: The cutest organic smoothie and coffee bar. Such a great breakfast "pick-me up" to start your day on a high note. I loved the acai bowl I ordered! Plus, this place has really awesome beachy vibes with art, lots of plants and basically a whole lot of " Ohhh, I want to own a cool juice bar like this" vibes! hahaha    

Gnarwhal Coffee: Two mornings in a row, I had my coffee there. It's just so good and so hard to resist. Right on the corner and only a few steps away from the beach. We would get a coffee early morning and then walk down the beach to enjoy the quiet misty views. Also, they carry the most delicious croissants with melted almond butter inside. Yep, I licked my fingers all over! hahaha  

Tipsy Chef: One of the nights we wanted to go-out  and enjoy a few cocktails + food in a nearby restaurant. We came across Tipsy Chef, which showed really high in reviews when searching for a good spot. The best surprise was there was a live DJ and the place closed later than others. It felt like I'm back in Vegas (where we're used to mostly everything being open until late!)
