WORK FROM HOME: WHAT TO WEAR!

Hello everyone,

Since the pandemic our daily routines have changed in so many ways. A lot of things like work, exercise, ordering food are now done from home. There's no better time to be greatly thankful for the internet than now since we're so dependent on it to feel somewhat normal and productive. Long gone are the days when we felt like having a phone was a burden as we had to keep up with everything from e-mails to endless scrolls through Instagram. Currently, every minute spend online feels like a breath of fresh air!

And of course, this is no time to be lazy or to start dreading each day. Instead, we can make our own daily plans and fill in every day with things that must-be accomplished like work stuff . In between we can add fun activities to help us stay motivated, inspired. What do you think?

I know a lot of us have made our own at-home work space where we spend time working...taking video calls, answering messages and tackling any important responsibilities. Well, since we're all in the same boat, I thought it's only right to share with you an outfit which can bring-out the BOSS in you. A look that's comfortable, yet very professional!

With a dab of natural make-up combined with this outfit, you'll be more than READY for any video conference call. Let's slay working from home!!!

Working from the comfort of your own home can be a BIG plus in that you don't have to wear a pencil skirt, trousers or high pumps. Save these pieces for the office once things get back to normal. As for now, you can take advantage of wearing more comfortable items, which can still put you in the mood of getting work done. How do you like the sound of that?...literally the best of both worlds!

So you're heading to a virtual meeting on your laptop, what should you wear?

Most definitely you can throw on a nice pair of comfy leggings, stretchy - a great alternative for the hours you'll be spending in front of the screen. It's likely that no one will see your legs as you'll be sitting, so don't go wearing jeans or anything else too formal. Also, you can add your most fuzzy slippers. Don't you just wish you could go to work like that even after the pandemic passes?

You'll be seen from the waist up, so here you can let your effort show. Throw on a nice clean tee and a fitted blazer over it. You'll look presentable, someone who is ready to give it their all! Also, you can add one piece of jewelry like a tiny necklace or hoop earrings instead. Don't forget to style your hair, apply a more natural make-up. I would add a bit of lip-gloss on the lips and let's get to work!!!

Do you dress-up even when working from home or are you a pj's kind of gal?

  5. Hey Radi, good to know that you're good! Hope everything is well with your beloved ones too!

These are definitely good tips specially if you have never worked from home before. I'm used to work from home from many years and dressing up is one of the most important steps in order to set up for the working mood. You can stay comfortable but definitely not in your pjs right?

PS: The pictures are so lovely and they look like something from a magazine!

All the best and thanks for your constant support!

  10. I so agree with you! I think we should be thankful and try to take this time off to do all those things we don't have time to do: online courses, try that dish you've ever wanted, create more content... hopefully we'll end being stronger, smarter and humbler.

Ah! And I always try to wear comfy clothes but never workout ones or pyjamas. Just the kind you've posted ;)

    Love that post babe!

  14. I work from home for almost 10 years now, and I always wear what they call now a "loungewear" which is a sweater or hoodie and jersey shorts or pants. But most times, I prefer my PJs :D

    Anyway, stay safe and healthy!

  20. Thanks for this tips Radi, I really apreciate them. Every day I take some time to dress up, because I'm used to work at home, and I don't like to stay all day in my pijama. Comfy clothes but trendy at the same time are perfect for me, like a basic tee and ripped jeans ;) Have a nice weekend!

  25. I'm still going into the office (but taking off a day here and there). I'd love to be working from home, though. I used to and I would work in my pajamas from about 6:30 am to 9:30 and then shower and put on real clothes. I can't stay in my pajamas all day. Even on an ugly day outside, I feel the need to pull on at least leggings and an oversized sweatshirt and put on my makeup. I think I feel too "lazy" staying in my pajamas and I'm not nearly as productive. But slippers for sure....always slippers! It's definitely to each his own, but if you have to do video conferencing, you definitely need to put a little effort into it. I love your suggestion because it combines the best of both worlds and you look amazing, as always! Beautiful photography, too!
