LAST MINUTE VALENTINE'S DAY OUTFIT!

Hello everyone,

Imagine this...you've got no Valentine's Day plans, however, in the morning of February 14 your crush texts you and invites you to a casual date of bowling or a movie. Here's where this post comes in handy as you might be in a rush trying to figure out what to wear. You want to look casual, cute and put together at the same time! 

Last minute date outfits can be the MOST memorable and fun as your brain cells speed-up, your heart rate starts doing cartwheels...hahaha! I think you get the point!!! 😂 

I'm not a dating expert, but the fashionista in me tells me I know how to dress for any date. The winning point is...it has got to be something I feel 100% confident in. For me, that most likely always involves a bold red lipstick and high heels. What's your confidence booster?  

If you would rather enjoy Galentine's day consider this look as an inspiration as well because I think it would be perfect for hanging out with your besties. No matter what this day brings you, I hope you enjoy it to the fullest!!! 💕

With this V-Day outfit, from the start I knew I wanted to play with one of last year's trends...socks with sandals! You might be asking, aren't you a bit late? I know it's 2020, but for me, fashion has no expiration date. I rock the trends whenever I feel like it! 😜 

Are you fond of the way this trend looks or do you prefer to ignore it like it never happened? I'm very surprised that I'm actually loving it. It's definitely unique, feels different which is why I like it so much. Sometimes it's good to go out of the ordinary and be extraordinary!!!😁 I actually think, thanks to the socks and sandals, this Valentine's Day look turned out so fun. Plus, your date will want to make you forever his after he notices your one of a kind taste in style. 

Even on days when we're not celebrating Valentine's Day, I love wearing red. I couldn't wait to add this crop sweater with a high rise pair of jeans. Puts me in the mood of loving! LOL! Yep, red has powers. Add to it red lips and you'll be fearless! 💋Your date might even get a red smooch at the end of the night!    

To add this cool, casual vibe to the look, I finished it off with a puffer jacket. You know... to keep things warm and cute. Also, it gives off the "I didn't really have to try" vibes, which a lot of guys like on a girl.

ESSENTIAL UNDERGARMENTS FOR EVERY WOMAN!

Hello everyone,

What matters MOST to you...the outside or inside of a person? If I had to choose one, I would definitely go with what's inside. Is the heart tender and kind, loving and sweet? 

In that sense, I know what we notice immediately is the overall appearance of a person, clothing, shoes, accessories, hair. We don't see the undergarments, but to me they're just as important as the rest. Soft, yet sexy pair of bra and panties can skyrocket your confidence and make a difference in your day. How many times have you woken up excited to wear your new underwear? Me - every time!!! The feeling is special. I think every woman would agree with me when I say, we appreciate what's underneath.😉   

Having fallen in love with the quality and comfort of SKIMS undergarments, today's post is inspired by Kim Kardashian's brand made for every body and every woman. I'm completely impressed by it, happy to talk about a few essential undergarments, which I find make dressing a lot more easier.

               
Push-Up Bra

My go to bra is often a push-up style that gives me a bit of a lift, makes my upper body a bit more full. This makes me feel a lot more feminine and gives my tops/dresses a pleasant shape. Some women prefer no padding, which is completely fine. Whatever makes a woman happy and confident, that's what it ought to be!!!

With the many bra options at SKIMS, I knew I had to pick a push-up bra because not only am I in need of a new one, but I also love underwear shopping as much as every woman out there. It's the best. It feels part of my skin and now I'm one to wake-up feeling excited to put it on. 

Boy Shorts

The tomboy in me still loves a nice, soft pair of boy shorts to lounge in especially around the house. Also, if I'm wearing a flowy dress, I add cotton shorts as underwear instead of a thong since I'm known for wearing dresses when it's windy outside. Don't ask... I have no idea how this happens every time. The minute I walk out, my dress literally starts flowing all over the place!😆      

What undergarment do you prefer for the bottom? And what's your favorite place to buy your underwear from? 

 Shapewear

Whenever you want to target a certain body part, I would suggest giving shapewear a try. There are lots of options nowadays. Ones for the waist, hips/thighs, even a full slip on dress to cover the whole body in one. You get the support you need, when you want it the most. Depends on what you've decided to wear that day and what undergarment would make you feel extra sexy. So choose wisely! Remember the perfect underwear can give you that extra strut in your walk as if you're on the runway.   

Pasties 

When you've got a low cut top or something in super tiny straps, believe me you'll need a great set of pasties to stick on. Ones that not only stick, but stay on throughout the whole day/night. 

Certain clothing looks unpleasant with bra straps showing, so this is the best way to overcome this challenge. For example, when I choose to wear an item with an open back, pasties come to the rescue. Easy, simple and you get the effect you wanted in the first place!

A little tip: carry an extra set in your purse because you know unexpected things happen. One might fly off into the streets and besides the embarrassment, you'll end up worrying about your nipple showing the whole time. This way you'll be safe no matter what!

Bralette

To me, the next best thing after a sporty workout bra is a cute lace bralette. It feels amazing on as if it's not even there. You've got full freedom when it comes to movement! I like the feel of no strap marks on your skin after you take off your underwear, which is why a bralette is the perfect essential in my organized drawer. 

Also, I love the fact that bralettes are made so stylish. You almost always want them to be seen or peeking a bit with their pretty lace designs. That's why many times, when I wear a bralette, I just add a shirt tied at the waist with the buttons a bit undone on top. Also, whenever I wear sheer blouses, I'm always wearing a bralette underneath. No question about it, they go together! When do you go for a bralette instead of a regular bra?

TRY ON HAUL: JANUARY 2020!

Hello everyone,

Do you ever consider starting the New Year with NEW purchases? I dooooo! I like to freshen-up everything in my life. Starting from somethings as important as my thoughts to something material like my closet. It's necessary, as we continue to grow and discover what brings us happiness! 😁 

On that note, today I'm bringing you a try-on haul from Forever 21 (my favorite store). A few pieces I picked up online. I've got to admit, I kept adding more and more to my cart, but made my final decision on these 5 items because I knew I could style them countless ways with everything else I already had. I know...IMPRESSIVE! I told you, I can shop smart even though sometimes my appearance can trick you into thinking otherwise!!! hahaha!   


Since online shopping is always fun for me, I'm ready to try-on my picks for the first time with YOU. Hopefully you'll join the fun because this blog would be so boring without you. Plus, I like seeing what other girls buy, so this is our way of getting style ideas from each other. What do you say? Let's get started!!!  

1. Faux Fur Hooded Jacket

I can't even begin to tell you how cozy this jacket is. It's so similar to my mustard colored one you've seen me wear a few times. The one I included in my fall haul...do you remember? Well, having this one, made me buy another one with a zipper, a bit more loose (one size bigger) and in this pretty violet shade. I can barely focus right now!!! I'm freaking out for having a second teddy jacket. 🐻 

Because of the pretty color, I like to keep everything else at minimal. All grey is the way to go! At least that's what I felt styling it with on this day. I promise this grey didn't effect the Vegas sunny day...LOL!


And you know what? With this jacket I give out some warm free hugs, so if you see me wearing it, you know what to do!            


2. Patent Leather Mini Skirt 

Since a year ago, I've been obsessed with wearing skirts. Not the kind of obsession that goes away in two or three months. Completely the opposite, the kind where every outfit I think of begins with a cute skirt. Having so many proves my point and buying this one proves it even more, right? hahaha

I just love the idea of styling a graphic tee with an edgy patent skirt like this one or adding a feminine crop top with long bell sleeves. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose to wear on top. It simply works no matter what pops into your mind! How would you style this skirt?

A purchase like this one makes me want to go shopping each month... cross that, every week! I swear I need this skirt in every color under the rainbow. 

3. Cotton-Blend V-Neck Cami  

Simple, yet an everyday essential for me is a cami. This item was a no-brainer when it came to adding it to my cart because I know I will wear it a ton. It can be sported at home with a pair of shorts, even worn outside under your sweater or as the days get hotter, by itself. You can imagine these tops are super versatile. They are there whenever you need them 😊 Yessss, I'm still talking about clothing! LOL! 

You might get so comfortable with reaching for a cami every time you get dressed that you'll sometimes have to tell yourself "NO", so you can change things up. That's why we love fashion so much, it's good to take a leap and try to create various looks each time. This is what I strive to do every morning when being faced with a closet full of choices! 

4. Geo-Stitched Ribbed Sweater

  
It's still a bit chilly and while my heart is screaming for summer, I decided to stock-up on more sweaters until my favorite season arrives. At least now I've got a smile on my face! A big part of it comes from getting this black sweater. How cute is it?

Sweaters like these define #sweaterweather because fall/winter would be incomplete without them. We all know this to be true! Something so cozy is like a hug to your body. Ohh so poetic!!!

How many of you are sweater lovers? ALL for one and one for all.😉

5. Tokyo Graphic Metallic Leggings

   
I've never been to Tokyo, but with these leggings I feel halfway there! hahaha 

I love a good pair of stretchy leggings, which is why I bought these. Also, the metallic silver gets me every time. Seeing them it was difficult to forget, so I quickly added them to the rest of the pieces. As you can see, the cami, the teddy jacket go perfectly with the leggings. One outfit of velvet, grey, metallic and a pop of violet! Can it get better than this?

It feels amazing having comfort but still being stylish. I would always pick style over comfort, but here I got lucky with both. 😁 Who else feels the luck with their first purchases of 2020? Raise your hands!!!

PARTY DRESSES FOR NYE!

2020... Who's READY? 🥳

It's the season of celebrating the end of an year and the start of a brighter, golden New Year! With the challenges we faced, the adventures we took, the twists and turns we encountered in 2019, at midnight once the clock strikes 12, it's time for a clean start. Leave the bad behind and believe in the blessings awaiting just for YOU! 

Another year, another chance to smile at someone, to ask your crush out, to take that dream vacation, to reconnect with your inner self, to take a chance, to lead the life you have been imagining. Make it count!!!

I will take my own advice and try my best to make 2020 a great one. In the beginning of 2019 February, something happened that shook me to the core and made it hard for me to enjoy even the good moments. Now, as I sit here and write this post, I feel stronger, willing to flip the page to a brand new chapter of my life. We can all find the courage to continue on and make the best from the deck of cards life deals us.  

To celebrate this new beginning together, I want to us to get glamorous, take the needed time for us to get our nails, hair and outfit ready and to fully enjoy this night away!

1. Sequin Dresses 

          
If you're life of the party, love having fun and want to shine, go for a sexy mini sequin dress. On this night, you're allowed to go all out without any shame. Dress-up as much as you want, dance until you can't walk anymore and leave the rest behind. 

This type of dress is drawing me in because what other days would I get to wear a shiny dress?! Probably once or twice, not very often, so on New Year's Eve, it is the perfect pick! Plus, it will happily sync with the confetti that's going to be flying everywhere! And do you know how awesome sequins shine under colorful disco lights?...It's magical in my eyes!!!

2. Velvet Dresses

For a look of elegance and sophistication, it's best to choose a velvet dress. With a material like this, you won't need anything else. It speaks volume as you put it on. Also, in its simplicity, velvet is so festive, making it a wonderful pick for this time of year. I know I've got lots of velvet pieces to keep up with the holidays happening in December. I'm thinking of my velvet leggings, boots and asymmetrical dress!. All favorites of mine!  

3. Satin Dresses

Want to add a glossy, beautiful finish to your NYE party outfit, wear a lovely satin dress! I would go for one in darker green or silver. The silk beautifully hugs your figure, making it hard not to notice. It's a 100 across all boards! Plus, this material feels light on your skin as if you're in your silk pajamas, but you know the more glam version. What else is there to dream about?  

Just like velvet, satin is also on the romantic side. A great option if you want to skip the crowded parties and spend welcoming the New Year with your man.                

4. Lace Dresses

And a little lace detailed dress goes a long way for a New Year's Eve party! It's delicate, makes a woman feel extra feminine. When you add a killer pair of heels, you'll be looking incredible...that's an understatement. 

For me, lace adds a charm that's hard to put into words. It's one of the most beautiful fabrics. No wonder wedding dresses are mostly made of lace. How could you not fall in love with it? 

I think a black lace dress would be ideal for NYE because it's classy and would look good on absolutely anyone. I'm sure you have worn one already for one of the previous New Years Eve celebrations.

HOLIDAY PARTY OUTFIT IDEAS!

Let's get into the HOLIDAY spirit!!! 🎄

I'm starting off a series of blog posts all made to excite us and get us into a festive mood this time of year. Today it's all about the glam outfits, each one made to party because I know this is the season of attending parties from work related gatherings to family Christmas dinners. So I've got style ideas and tips to help you pick an outfit appropriate for each type of event and mostly give you the confidence to walk into the room and have an incredible time. Are you READY? 

When it comes to holiday parties... let's just say they are my specialty,hahaha because I love socializing, drinking (shhhh), dancing, laughing and I always having a blast deciding what to wear. That being said, you're in great hands! Just read until the end of this post, gather outfit ideas that suit your personal style and clear some time for a bit of online shopping. 😁 

1. Girls Night-Out

If you're planning to get together with your girlfriends for the holidays, exchange gifts and have a few drinks at a bar, this is the kind of outfit you should go for. Your look should be fun, bold and festive. You can be more free in your choice of clothing, meaning you can most definitely go for sheer fabrics and show a bit more skin than at other parties. Plus, I'm assuming they're your closest girlfriends, so they know you better than you know yourself, and more than likely, you always feel you can be your true-self in their company.

I know I love wearing metallic, sequins and see-through fabrics during the holidays, so I decided to mix them up into this one outfit. It screams party and it's a super fun night-out look! Just be ready... an outfit like this might get you a few more free drinks. LOL! Cheeeeers! 

2. Work Christmas Party

Lots of work places organize their own annual Christmas parties, which you most definitely will have to attend. You've got to have an outfit for this type of party as well! Here, it's important to still keep it professional and classy. However, you can play with the festive red and green colors for something more fun than your usual work outfit. Stay away from pieces that reveal too much skin. If you've got a low cut top or a dress you're not too sure about, have a blazer on top to make it more appropriate. You wouldn't want your boss/colleagues to see that side of you! LOL! Also, at a work party, there's nothing worse than others staring at your outfit, being distracted, not looking you in your eyes when having a conversation.

A safe bet is always a white shirt, pencil skirt and long pants. From there you can add something red or green, or why not both, like I did here. This outfit is prove that you can still add some holiday cheer to your work party outfit!   

3. Christmas Family Dinner 

   
'Tis the season for getting together with loved ones and celebrating! There's nothing like spending the holidays with your family, seeing the joy and sparkle in their eyes as we bond over shared past memories. In many cases this is the only time we get to see close relatives since a lot of us have families spread all over the world or in different cities. Thankfully, holidays like Christmas are able to connect us and make us feel home!

On Christmas Eve my family and I always have a special dinner, which later leads us to opening our presents under the Christmas tree. Years ago I made it into a family tradition because I couldn't wait until Christmas morning to open gifts. Santa said it's okay! LOL! 

On this special family holiday, I love dressing-up, adding a bit of spark. Anything gold is my absolute favorite and when it shines it earns extra points in my boo just like this cozy, shiny sweater! The golden theme continues with the long tassel earrings and the pleated skirt. Definitely go for something comfortable that makes you feel happy, in the mood to eat, celebrate and eat some more... hahaha! 

4. NYE Party

We can't let the holidays slip on by without welcoming in the New Year! 🙌 This is where all the FUN happens in your outfit and outside of it. hahaha! Who's excited for 2020?

There are not limits when it comes to your party look...ok, maybe don't show-up naked. But I mean, you can go all out with accessories, your sequin dress which you've probably worn only once before, and your most uncomfortable heels, which you haven't even touched. hahaha! I'm laughing out loud because that's so me!!!

Easiest choice for a NYE party is a sexy dress or a playful two piece set. Both are meant for a wild night, just you know, a little heads up. I already have in mind what I'll be wearing this year. I might even show you, if you're really curious?!

4 WAYS TO WEAR WHITE JEANS IN THE FALL!

I've been wearing this one item so often that I had to make this post. The title gives it away... I'm talking about the white jeans!!! They're my go-to, not because I give them a wash every time I wear them, but because they're everything I want in a pair of jeans. This includes unique, chic and bright... my kind of signature style this fall!!! 😉 


I have already worn them so many different ways that I thought you would like to see. Would you? I'm hearing loud YESSssss! Or is this me daydreaming again?! LOL! Nonetheless, I hope this post inspires you and please share with me how would you style your white jeans. We can INSPIRE each other!!! 💓

I know it can be a challenge to keep the white jeans as clean as when you bought them, but trust me they're just too cool to leave in the closet hanging. I would rather sit, walk and dance in them!!!

1. 

It's a denim dynamite everybody! Denim and white jeans as a combination EXCITE me. I mean, if clothes don't excite you, what will? Haha. Honestly I love the whole vibe of this look because it's put together yet cool with the over-sized denim jacket. It works and I like it like that!!! 

This is a quick outfit you can easily put together and rock through the autumn season like me. Shhh don't tell anyone, I have been wearing it more than once. Actually, do tell because I think clothes are meant for exactly that, especially if you feel confident in them. I know you feel me...what clothing item makes you feel unstoppable?

If you're the girl on the GO, constantly moving from one place to another this outfit is for you. It's cute and casual, makes running around, or more precisely running errands, a lot more enjoyable. And you know I added watermelon earrings because I'm desperately trying to bring summer back! hahaha
It hasn't worked so far, but I'm crossing my fingers! Maybe if I wear them one week non-stop, the MIRACLE will happen!!!😱  

I feel like a lot of you will favorite this outfit the most because a tee and a cardigan go a long way. They're an everyday essential! Adding white jeans to the mix, it just can't get any better. So good, it screams..."Yep, I lovvvvve it!"

So, we've got the white jeans, which immediately makes me want to go all out with a monochromatic look. It's like a white blanket outfit on cloud 9...of course I want to wear it! Here, I've got the sneakers, the furry coat and the clean cut details that I love. I can't explain the feeling with words, you've got to try it yourself!

Having one shade on from head to toe makes for one bold statement! There is not much else to be said, as the outfit does all the talking. Let's leave it to this look to finish the rest... hahaha!

BEST SKIN THIS FALL!

With the new season here I think we like to change everything around us to give ourselves a fully "new life" where the new gives us a fresh, energizing beginning. Along with my clothing and make-up, I give my face brand new products to smile about. Since face recognition is the only way to easily unlock my phone, I need my face to be autumn glowing! LOL!!!😂 These five skincare products I'm about to share with you in a little bit, help with that. They've made it super enjoyable for me to stick to my day and night routines because they work and are the BEST. 

For me, it's very easy to find products that work because I don't have any problematic areas to worry about and my skin is normal, never too dry or oily. Lucky me, right!? My aim is to keep it this way, healthy and hydrated from morning until nighttime for years and years to come...hahaha! So here are the top five products I would suggest, if you're wanting to change-up your skincare this fall! 


1. ALL DAY HYDRATOR 

        
Want your skin, including face plus neck, to feel hydrated all day? This is the cream for you!!! Sephora now has their own brand of skincare that is CLEAN from harmful chemicals, fragrances, and other things that you don't want in your skincare products, which is absolutely amazing! This All Day Hydrator contains hyaluronic acid to fight signs of aging and give you that hydrated, youthful, and glowy skin. You can apply it day and night like me and even use it as a make-up primer on days you want to wear make-up. It gives a very fresh and clean feel to your face, which is why it's my favorite and number one pick. Also, if you've got sensitive skin this is the product to try! 

I've been using it since the start of October and it's so good, the kind of product that gave me the idea to write this blog post. I just knew I had to share it with you!

2. GUARD + GLOW SUNSHINE SERUM 

  
Next up, I've got this cocoa extract serum from Drunk Elephant, which again is a CLEAN brand you can find at Sephora and promotes sustainability and products that are good for you and the environment made completely from natural ingredients. The serum is perfect for autumn, now that it's getting darker quicker and we're receiving less sunlight because it has a bronzing effect, which will give you a flawless, radiant skin during the winter months. It can be applied anywhere... face, neck, hands to give you a lovely touch of bronze without the damaging effect of sun rays, of course. 

The drunk elephant products are some of my favorites. I've tried a lot of them in the past year and I have fallen in love with this brand. So, if you're in the search for something wonderful and would like to try a new brand with a handful of amazing products, I suggest this one. Yep... I'm drunk on elephants!!! 😜  

3. BE A CLEAN BEE CLEANSER 

This honey cleanser  from Farmacy is ultra gentle, natural, plant-based with moisture magnets...what can be better than that? After a long day, to completely get rid of any make-up and dirt, I take just a few drops of this and massage it gently into my skin with water. A little product goes a long way with this one as it surprisingly foams really well. Then, I rinse it off and I'm left with clean, smooth, glowing skin. I've never used a better cleanser! You know how sometimes your skin feels really dry and tight after you've cleansed it? With this, I never get that feeling because it's completely natural with real ingredients and it's just so worth it. It's the best feeling in the world... knowing that waking-up you won't have a trace of make-up on your pillow, as if last night never happened, plus, you get the added benefit of natural glowy skin. 

Once you try it, you'll want to spread the buzz because it's bee-licious!!! 

4. JET LAG MASK 

    
Traveling or not, this hydrating mask from Summer Fridays must be by your bedside. It's one of these masks, which you can leave on for ten minutes or more and you won't have to rinse it. You just blot it gently with a warm cloth and enjoy the amazing aftereffect. I even apply it under and over my eye area because you know you got to work on preventing those wrinkles even in our late 20's.

For me, one of the best ways to end any day is relaxing with a face mask hours before going to bed. Not only does it make me feel great, but also gets me ready for the next day. One of the many ways I love to recharge!

5. HYDRA FULL RETEXTURIZING CREAM 

And my final pick is not to be missed because it's a winner when it comes to bringing youthfulness back to your skin. The Marc Jacobs Youtquake hudra-full retexturizing gel cream fights fine lines and wrinkles, and literally retexurizes your skin. I don't know how they do it or what they put in this cream, but I love the way it has transformed my skin.  It gives you a glowy complexion, which makes you smile every time you see yourself in the mirror. Plus, I really love the fresh smell it has, as if I just got out of the shower. It's PERFECT!
