MAY FAVORITES!

Hello everyone, 

As we leave May behind, I think it's safe to say that not only am I excited for summer, but also love the fact that each month I discover new favorites to share. Some beauty, other fashion related and just anything that has made a long lasting impression on me. 

This month there was plenty of new favorites that thankfully I was able to narrow down to five or else this post wouldn't have an end. I wouldn't mind talking to you for hours, but I don't want you to fall asleep on me. LOL! Once I get going, it would be difficult, almost impossible to stop me!  


So let me introduce you to some things that might be completely new to you or you might know, love them already too! Let me know once we reach the end... 


1. Brand: LESEBI  

     
My all time favorite brand for this month and literally every month since I've gotten to know them closely and their incredible boho pieces is Lesebi. It happens to be my one stop destination for a jewelry lover like me because they offer stunning handmade pieces that bring out the flare in me: WILD & FREE! 

I'm obsessed with their summer bright and fun inspired designs like the ones shown above. On the right, I'm wearing my dreamy pom-pom chandeliers named "Turkey", which make me feel like I'm on vacation every time I wear them. Some place like Cancun where the good times never stop and earrings like these can make a single dress pop!!! 

The tassels on the right "borrowed" by my sister, who still hasn't returned them back (not surprised since they're so beautiful) are called "Galveston". They're made to make you shine no matter the occasion or time.

2. Night Cream: CLINIQUE

                 
This is the one product I have used every night throughout the month of May. Once my make-up is taken off, I apply this cream for a 72 hour hydration. It's one of the best I have used because it re-hydrates my skin leaving it soft and glowy the next morning. It feels AMAZING! 

From using it so much, I've noticed that even after washing the face, it works non-stop for the 72 hours as promised. I swear by this product and highly recommend it to you to try.

From my personal experience with this cream, I can say that my skin has completely improved. It's now extra soft, has a healthy glow to it and feels refreshed even on days when I don't get much sleep. 


3. Make-Up: COLORFUL EYE-SHADOWS

     
There always comes a time with my make-up when I just want to play with lots of colorful eye-shadows like greens, purples, pinks and more. This was the month, which I experimented with something else rather than my signature black eyeliner and nude eyes look. 

I went with a green holographic make-up, which has become very trendy in the beauty world. 
AlMAY has the perfect collection for recreating this trend! I used the "Pegasus"shadow squad to give my eyes the kind of pop they have never seen before! What do you think, should I keep this make-up revolution going in the month of June?  


4. Fashion: VINYL RED

Most of you know by now red is my color and having a vinyl skirt in this fire red is so ME. I've worn this skirt countless times over the month. Because of it I don't think I've worn a dress more than once, which is a bit strange as last year this time around I was already living in dresses. 

I can't wait to continue wearing it with fun tropical prints in the summer. It's definitely a clothing item that will work all year round in Vegas with the addition of black tights underneath for the fall/winter. 

Since loving this skirt from the moment I got it, I've been on the lookout for more vinyl red pieces. I would love to find pants and a cool patent jacket. Warning: Don't be in shock if in my next favorites post, you see one of these items. 


5. Travel: VEGAS FROM ABOVE  

Not only the best city in the world, but the most beautiful from any angle you look at it! It shines like no other, it's the capital of entertainment and soon to be hokey champions! Yeahhh! Go Golden Knights!!! 

I got the opportunity for the first time to take a helicopter ride above the Strip and the night lights were beyond breathtaking. It was so exciting and so different from riding on a plane. Even more so, as I was in the very front, able to see the beauty of the whole city.   

I'm so happy, I can finally check off seeing Vegas in a helicopter ride from my dream list because I have wanted to do it for so long. That makes May my lucky month!

SUMMER TRENDS I LOVE!

Hello everyone, 

The season that has us daydreaming of the sand between our toes, the seagulls calling out with joy, the light warm breeze running through our hair is only a month away. A magical paradise, which summer brings every time it comes around! 
Even if you're far from the beach, during this time it's completely normal to let your mind take you there and allow yourself to keep your mind, body and soul at ease. Happily taking every sunny moment into account, while enjoying the beauty of summer!!! How many of you are summer ready? 

I've got plenty of reasons to LOVE summer, but since this is a fashion blog, I'm going to share with you my favorite summer trends that I'll be loving non-stop. My wardrobe will be in full summer mood as I'm going to fill it up with each piece more than once if you know what I mean!? 


1. Bathing Suits  

         
Okay, so you and I both know summer long days at the pool or beach are a must. For that you need the cutest swimwear. Something in which you feel confident and you would want to wear over and over again. 

Since the beginning of May, I've already been to the pool every Sunday with my friends. It's become our weekend tradition to have fun, sunbathe and have a drink or two by the pool. 

As a stripes lover who can't resist this print, I decided to include it into my summer lovin' days as well. That's why I've got my trendy vertical swimsuit ready to dip into the crystal waters. The vertical stripes elongate your figure, making you look taller/liner as the horizontal stripes do the opposite by making you look fuller/shorter. Keep that in mind when buying any stripes. Think of what would look better on your body shape?

2. Straw Bags  

I know I'm not the only one who's into this mega famous trend this summer. It's already receiving so much love that I can hardly see it going away anytime soon. It screams summer wherever I see it! I immediately picture palm trees, a lounge chair and an endless calming view... perhaps Bora Bora. What do you picture when you spot someone holding a straw bag or see it on display in a clothing store?     

My favorite style is the round straw bags just because to me they're picture and outfit perfect. I love the way a bag like this looks with any summer look and how it brings the beach/summer vibes back to you. Really, what else could you want from a summer accessory like this?

3. Tropical Prints    

Living in the desert, I'm surrounded by palm trees everywhere, but even more than that I love wearing and seeing fresh tropical prints on clothing. It's a summer trend that I'm so excited to live in all summer long. Without a doubt, I'm ready to match those palm leaves I see every time I walk outside! 

Like everything summer related, this trend makes me so happy just looking at it because it's fresh, fun, bright and sweet - just like my summer and your summer will be! 

My heart tells me, I'll be stacking up on lots of tropical print pieces because this trend has captured my heart from the very beginning.

4. Cat-Eye Sunglasses

     
Gone are the mirrored aviators from last summer. This time it's all about the vintage tiny specs that can turn back time into the 60's when they were first seen. Since I wasn't even born back then, today I'm able to relive a small part of that era by adding a pair of cat-eye sunglasses to my looks. How fun is that?     

With my ongoing love for red, this red frame pair is going to be my ultimate summer accessory. I love how chic and cool they look. They can make even the simplest white tee look fabulous!

5. Statement Earrings 

As a true jewelry lover, this summer more than ever I'll be rocking lots of signature earrings in different styles with tassels, pearls, pom-poms, beads and more. The bigger, the better because there's no other way to make a better statement! 

I love wearing color and just as much enjoy adding bright colored earrings in the summer. This is the season to celebrate life, go all out with your looks and bring color into your life! Don't hesitate to try something new by adding a new accessory that you might have never thought of wearing before. You most likely will end up turning it into your signature style!

WEEKEND STYLE AND MORE!

Hello everyone, 

Back from Cabo, I headed straight into the hot desert for a photoshoot that required some hiking. No problem at all, I enjoy moving any chance I get whether that includes running or long walks in the park. Plus, like every photoshoot, there are lots of new fun memories that stick with me even after I leave and look through the photos. Literally, there's not a thing that I don't enjoy about blogging! It's like I've found my true soulmate and all I can think about is showering him with lots of LOVE!!! 💕

You've come to the right place if you're in need of some loving. If you've got a thing for fashion like me, I'm happy to call you my soulmate. We can understand each other with just one glace, without anyone else knowing what we've said. Thinking about it, I'm in awe of our strong connection! 😁  

This outfit here within minutes can become your everyday summer uniform because it's simply sexy, comfortable and most definitely easy to pull off. You can wear it when hanging out with the girls, going to the pool, weekend shopping, to an upcoming music festival... really anywhere, any summer activity you may have planned. 
Speaking of plans are you a planner or do you like to follow the flow of things? I'm a planner, it's so obvious, when I even plan the smallest things like my outfits. Crazy, right? I can be laid back only when everything is going according to plan!!! hahaha  

You bet, this look here went like it was planned months in advance. Plus, I had the desert to myself as everyone was celebrating Cinco de Mayo. What a coincidence!!!


I really wanted to keep the whole look chill for the weekend with a few touches that I couldn't not add on. Of course, that's the accessories, which include my go-to summer straw bag, sunglasses and golden jewelry. 
This is the summer to take control and get yourself a straw bag because they're going to overtake this season, you won't be needing any other bag. That being said, also keep your eyes open for any body chains you might like because they can make your outfit, even your swimsuit, look a million dollars. And you know, a cool pair of sunnies can make your summer even cooler! 

                   
Once you've got the accessories in check, go for your signature denim shorts. a bodysuit or crop top, kimono to add some flare and your summer sandals. 

I love wearing bodysuits!!! This GUESS logo one is my current favorite. I don't think it'll ever slide into the second spot because I keep reaching for it every time. Next time, I can see myself styling it with the patent red skirt you have seen me wear before. 

Because layering is super fun, I had to casually throw on my velvet kimono. I kept it on as long as I could, until getting back in the heated car made me loose my mind. 😁

TRAVEL DIARY: CABO SAN LUCAS!

Hello everyone, 

Have you ever planned a very last-minute getaway? One that you didn't have much time to think about because the next day in the morning you've got to catch the plane? This was the scenario for my three day vacation to my favorite place ever, Cabo San Lucas! Favorite because it was as fun and entertaining as the first time I ever visited, way back in 2012. 

These three carefree days felt like a whole week because I was really able to relax and enjoy each moment without having to check my phone every few minutes or work on the laptop for hours. I completely got to recharge by laying in the sunshine, swimming in the sea, listening to salsa beats every night as I enjoyed dinner, laughing out loud with my Mexican amigos, who were the real entertainment, so funny and incredibly nice. It was unforgettable and now that I'm back in Las Vegas, I can't wait to return there for the third time. 


If you're feeling the need for a spring vacation, let this post be your virtual vacation. Forget everything that's going on in your life and completely surrender to the beautiful photos I'm about to share with you. This is the time to play a soothing melody of the waves crashing by the shore and imagining yourself lost to the sound and view of it all.

          
I may have not had much time to think about my outfits as I had to pack quickly, but I was able to come up with three looks that fit the vibrant, energetic feel of the Mexican culture. I just knew being in such a beautiful place, I had to take advantage of shooting there. It still felt like a vacation to me because this is something I absolutely love doing and the surrounding beauty made it that much more enjoyable!

Okay, so I always have the problem of over-packing because I always want to bring my whole closet with me, but this time I really did well. For three days, I only packed a carry-on bag, which I still can't believe how on earth I managed to accomplish it?! MIRACLES do happen!!! I kept the thought of being there for only three days in my head while I packed, so I didn't allow myself to take items which I'll only have to return back without even wearing. If I can do it, you can do it as well! 😁

     
One of the first things I reached for when filling up my bag for the trip was a white dress. It's very easy to style ( I paired it with my comfy nude sandals) and white looks amazing with a tan especially for a night out. You can't go wrong with a choice like that! It not only saves you time when getting ready, but saves you lots of space in your suitcase left for the heavy duty, any sandals or heels you might want to take with you.     

I also brought my red contrast striped set that comes in a crop top with long bell sleeves, so appropriate for Cabo and a midi skirt with a deep slit on one side of the leg. I thought to make my life easier and bag lighter I'll take this set and create two different looks from it. The crop top went perfectly with my denim skirt as the red skirt got sassy with a bralette and my denim jacket over it. For both of these looks my red clutch and black lace-up sandals worked, so I didn't have to worry about packing extra accessories for each outfit. I was ready to go within minutes! I've never packed this quickly or efficiently in my life!!! 

    
If you've never been to Cabo, one of the very first things you must do is take a boat trip to the famous arch. It's so stunning seeing it in person! I was able to do that when I visited Los Cabos for the first time years ago. I still remember how in awe I was of seeing something that before I only saw in photos. This time around, since I was there only for three days I relaxed lots on the beach without any care in the world. The rest of the activities, I'll leave for next time when I visit.
